National Nostalgic Nova and the First Chapter would like to invite you to attend the 2010 Nova Nationals on July 22, 23, 24, 2010 in Gettysburg, PA. This year we have a lot of fun things planned read below to see what is going on!

The Nationals will begin to fill with cars on Wednesday July 21. Through out the day Novas will arrive from all points of the country. Swap meet vendors will be setting up as well. Wednesday evening there is always something fun happening.
     Thursday morning the judging of the Novas begin. This will run until noon. This year for one of our cruises we have something very special planned. After lunch around 40 wounded Veterans from the Wounded Warrior Project (check them at the woundedwarriorproject.org) will arrive at the hotel and take part in our afternoon activities.
     Any one who wants to be a “host family” will meet their Vet and show them around the Nova show. (In order to be a host family you must be at the hotel and have your Nova set up by 12:00 Noon Thursday.)
      The cruise will begin mid afternoon. Each Vet will be driven to Boyd’s Bears in the host families Nova. Boyd’s Bears is a cool four story barn retail outlet. You can buy any kind of bear you can imagine or you can build your own. The displays are out of this world. At Boyd’s Bear we will organize the Novas in a car show fashion. In addition to the Novas we will have a Civil War camp set up with soldiers, living history display by the USCC and a WWII display with vehicles, motorcycles and guns.
    The afternoon will be spent enjoying all the sights and spending time with our guests the Veterans. At one point Mr Jim Getty who is a renowned President Abraham Lincoln impersonator will visit and talk to the troops and us. Awards will be given as picked by our Vets.
     Boyds Bears has a buffet restaurant down stairs so everyone can buy dinner without leaving the show. Much more is coming, we will keep you posted. All I can say is, you will not want to miss this part of the Nova Nationals.
     Friday morning the judging will continue until Noon. Later in the afternoon we will cruise to the Chevrolet dealer next door. Here we will set up for another car show. Renn Kirby Chevrolet and the First Chapter will host a welcome meal for all who attend, trophies will be awarded by Renn Kirby employees.
     After the Renn Kirby Chevrolet cruise the famous Nova Nationals raffle will take place back in the hotel parking lot. This is a fun event and proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Program. (Not to mention you can win some great stuff!)
    Saturday we will have seminars by guest speakers, you can enjoy the Novas and check out the swap meet. At 3:30 we will have the awards banquet. Don’t forget the great show before the awards by Dr Nova Cane AKA Courtney Johnson. After the banquet and awards we are planning an activity for everyone who is spending the night Saturday.
      This will be a Nova Nationals to remember. Come enjoy it, you will have a great time and meet lots of super people. Fill out the form on page 3 and mail it in. Over fifty registrations are already in. We will contact everyone to see who wants to be a host family for a Vet.

Judging will start Thursday at 8:00AM. All Novas being judged must be thru registration at the show no later than 9:00 AM Friday July 23, 2010. Judging ends at 12:00 Noon Friday, no Saturday judging. This Pre-registration form must be filled out completely and received by mail to the National Office, PO Box 2344, York, PA 17405 no later than May 28, 2010 with payment.

Members who register after May 28, 2010 will have to register at a higher rate and will have to book rooms
directly with the Hotel at a much higher rate if available.

Please pre-register early to avoid the higher cost and to guarantee getting a room. Please
only send ONE night for deposit per room.
